While she doesn't get out to go fishing much, she has been totally supportive of my obsessions. She has lived through my days of carving wood decoys in the living room when we first got married. She has tolerated my times when I was obsessed with fly tying. She made it through the times when I built hand drums and soaked goat skins in her bath tub even when there were reports of folks catching anthrax from african goatskins. She even made it through the YEARS that I have spent working on making music. And now back to fishing. She has just this month put up with me building two 9' rods in the living room with out complaint. She has even tolerated my spending of silly amounts of money as I have been getting ALL of the gear that I have needed for fishing. I can tell you one thing, it would be STUPID of me to take a woman like that for granted! She has not even gotten stressed over my reel purchaces... here are the ones that I have bought this summer/fall...

Sadly that is not all... two Mitchells are lying in state. My son destroyed one of my 403s and his 303.

Sorry Steve, that 706 now belongs to HiJacker, my son. He even cut grass for it. LOL

Nice lefty collection!    Cool understanding wife too. My wife understands as well. You should see my collection. Or better yet you should see Obie's. Or you should see the guy above him.  ...and so on and so on.  I'll have to take a picture of my collection soon. We should have a show n tell thread.

I am sure that you guys that have been fishing the piers for years have a ton built up! I saw Marshall's garage the other day... freaking crazy. The dude has more equipment than Half Hitch. Mine just started this summer... I can't continue that pace. I need to chill out for a while LOL

While walking past my wife's closet I made a remark on"Just How many Shoes Can One Woman Wear"

She said "Well how many rods and reels does one man need"

We don't talk about her shoes anymore.

Getting ready to go freshwater fishing in 10 minutes and took a picture of where some of the tackle is stored. I'm an addict but there one ones worse than me.

Mrs. T-wagon doesn't care for kingfishing in the crowd.  She likes to catch live bait for me. She hauls the live bait bucket herself.  She watches the T-wagon pier cart while I fish, goes for food when I'm hungry, brings me something to drink when I'm thirsty, fishes my rod when I need to go to the head.   When she's not doing that stuff, she likes to sit and read or talk to the pier folk who are taking a break from the rail.  Other than that, she's ok.

I was at the Pier almost everyday in Sept and my wife was in the Condo or on the beach which was a 10 minute walk away.   She walked out on the pier once the entire trip to tell me she was going shopping in Destin.

I tried to get her to touch a Remora and she ran off.  She told me if I got thirsty there was a Coke Machine by the gate.

Gee wifey, thanks but I think I figured that out a couple days ago,

She's a keeper anyway.
