Nice fish guys, that sail is insane. I sure wish I would have been out there early enough to see Jake catch that sail. I think just about everyone fishing choked a sail today. _________________ Go Fishing you can't catch them sitting on the couch!!!

It was kept, he just dropped me off a few steaks to try. He plans on having a mount made. He said it took an hour or so for the fight and the fish was dead by the time it was pierside so he stuck it. As you can see in the pic his death shade(the brown) was creaping pretty quick. _________________ To hell with swimming, sink. Team Granite. |

Actually, the pic where it was completely dark was the fish pic taken. The pic with him colored was after it sat for a few min and regained some color. |

I just got finished grilling some of the Sailfish fillets Jake was kind enough to share with us and let me just tell y'all....it was DELICIOUS!!!!!!
I had looked on the internet at whether the meat was really any good and most of the websites online said Sailfish was considered too tough to be any good....well that's NOT what we found to be true.....
Congrats again Jake and thanks a bunch for the fillets! |

| Dan and I cooked a piece of his sailfish over here at my dad's place and it was very tasty. All the talk of sailfish being "no good" is likely an effort to increase releases. Congrats again to Jake, it was great to see you the other day. |
