Hoping a 302 expert would help out here - any source for a stock P.U.M. and what kind of $ would one expect to pay if found?  TIA for any tips.

The Fisher-Man has sleeve rollers, not ball bearing rollers. Good luck on finding Mitchell ball bearing rollers. If you do locate a source please let me know where.

Thanks for the replies everyone.  I have found the ball-bearing P.U.M. to be a very rare bird indeed.   In fact they may have eclipsed the dreaded "extinct" category.  I'll keep looking and maybe one day............

They are tough to come by but I see them quite frequently on ebay, however they are nearly always on a reel.

I grabbed a nice one on ebay a couple weeks ago. You just have to be in the right place at the right time.
