This time it was Ernie's turn to catch one. I went out for about an hour and there were some really big swells when my daughter called and was sick at school. So I called Ernie & had him meet me on the beach. The weather got nasty and he was going to come in around 11:30 but it cleared again and he decided to stay out. About 1:00 he called to say he'd caight a sail. I'll post the pics then let him fill in the rest. Great job honey!

mine to Manny - isn't that cool how he's lined up with pier? If someone told me we'd be catching sailfish from a yak at the end of our street a year ago I wouldn't have believed it...~Linda _________________ http://www.cavittscustoms.com
Just let me know, I'm ready to start paddling with either one of ya. _________________ This message was brought to you by the Partnership for a Googan-Free America.www.pierandsurf.com http://forums.sportfishingmag.com

I've used a yak before in Georgia and once here. I'm looking forward to trying it with a truly big fish on. _________________ This message was brought to you by the Partnership for a Googan-Free America.www.pierandsurf.com http://forums.sportfishingmag.com

Thanks all for the kind words. This sail bite is truly blowin my mind and hope it lasts awhile longer.
big mack , a big fish will pull you around thats the fun part and it whoops the fish quick cause your reeling yourself up to the fish after momentum gets going and your yak gets swung around and pointed in the right direction.
My fish wasnt as good a fight as Lindas. Hers was 30-40 min. towing her southbound. Mine was wiped in like 10 min. cause leader was entangeled near the tip of its bill, so every little jump flopped him back towards my direction. _________________ http://www.cavittscustoms.com
Nice fish Ernie, and great pics. I am truly glad Linda lets you fish sometime. Y'all are truly Blessed! Yes, I love the picture of the pier in the background too. Don
