4 MILE BRIDGEIs anyone fish at the 4 mile bridge recently? I heard it's good.

Where is the 4 mile bridge and what does it have to do with Penscola Pier?

I heard the 4 mile bridge is located near by the pensacola pier. please forgive me if i'm wrong.

Your probably thinking of the three mile bridge, it is the long bridge which goes over Pensacola Bay and connects Pensacola to Gulf Breeze. It has been closed to fishing since Hurricane Ivan, but the north end of the bridge will soon be back in service to us shore bound fisherman. Or maybe you are referring to Bob Sykes Bridge which goes over to Pensacola Beach from Gulf Breeze, if so I've heard they have been catching spanish, white trout, flounder and an assortment of undesirables. By the way Welcome to the forum.

When is it expected to be open? Are we going to have to start referring to it as the 1 1/2 mile bridge?
