Got there about 5pm shortly after Ben Arnold put a 24lb king on the deck. No kings the rest of the afternoon but I did manage to jack up a tarpon estimated around 120-130lbs fought him for about 30 minutes before laying him up next to the pier and popping him off to fight another day. Glad I was able to catch a tarpon for the year before getting back on the boat wednesday.

I forgot Ben Kitzel was fighting a tarpon when I got there around 5 and I believe he popped him off at the pier as well. From what I was told it was estimated at around 150ish.

I gave him a dying tater chip, my bait of choice for poons. He ate me straight down on the southeast corner.
