9/5 Report - FISHING IN THE STORMCADMAN AND I WENT TO THE PIER THIS MORNING WATCHING LIGHTENING TO THE WEST OVER PENSACOLA BAY. DIDN'T TAKE LONG FOR CADMAN TO HOOK A BIG SPANISH, FOLLOWED BY A SMALL ONE, AND I HOOKED UP A NICE KING ABOUT 14 LBS. TWO HAD BEEN PUT ON THE DECK BEFORE ME. SOMEBODY FROM THE PIER STAFF NEEDS TO SEE THAT THE HARDTAIL SEBIKI RIG FISHING ON THE END STOPS! I GET MY KING ON AND THE GOOGANS ON THE RAIL TANGLED ME ALL TO HELL AND GONE, AND WHEN I TURN THE FISH TO THE WEST SIDE TO BE GAFFED, DAMNED IF A MONSTER SEBIKI DOESN'T GET THROWN OVER ME, AROUND ME, TYING ME UP IN A KNOT...AND HE DOESN'T WANT TO CUT IT OFF WE DID FINALLY GET THAT SUICIDE FISH ON THE DECK, NO THANKS TO THE ABOVE MENTIONED IDIOTS. DESPITE THE GOOGANS AND IT WAS A SHORT BUT GOOD TRIP THIS MORNING. THE BEST PART WAS HAVING MY SON WITH ME. THE LIGHTENING FLASHED CLOSER, THE THUNDER ROLLLLLLLED AND MOTHER AND SON,BEDRAGGLED PIER JUNKIES GOT THE HELL OUT OF DODGE BEFORE HELL GOT US IN A LIGHTENING STRIKE.
WHERE WAS IVAN WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING YOU.IT'S HOME TO FOOTBALL, MACK SALAD, BBQ AND BEER. HAPPY HOOKIN'ROLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL TIDE.

Ms. Pat you totally omitted me! I caught the first king around 10lbs and Ms. Pat got the big one of the day 15lbs or so..Only 3 caught all day..It was fun gaffing that fish in the rain and cutting sabikis and stuff..I saw she was on and had fun with the knife! The beef jerky was good!

On OIP, we police the end since the staff is one deep and can't...if anyone has a problem, we direct them either to the pier shack, where they get told not to do in...or we direct them south...hhehhe...as for a sharp knife...I don't leave home without it...

My last trip at PBC pier a guy threw directly over a hooked King we were about to try to gaff with a nice new lure and got wrapped immediately. Everyone was hollering at him and I simply grabbed his line and cut it loose. I pulled his lure back in as he was walking away cussing about losing his new lure and took it back to him. We had a little talk about being courteous when someone was hooked up. He was on his first pier trip turned out. Usually they do not know better till told.
