Ebay probably kicked him off again and he's back now with a new name. He doesn't rip everyone off. He just randomly does it. Hijacker has a nicely painted 302 he got from Ebay that he says is blown up. I believe it has gear issues. Not sure if it's from the same guy. He didn't use it long. |

Yeah same guy sold us Christian's reel, but under a different screen name. The reel was super clean with a new spool and drag and speed handle. The paint was killer, though a different color than EBay photos led us to believe.
The issue that we have with his reel, (after using it since July) was that the gears seemed to not be meshing correctly. If seems that he needs some shims. I wouldn't quite call it blown up, but rather needing expert attention. It would likely still catch smaller fish fine until the proper repair is done. Our experience with the guy is limited to the one reel. But it was ok. Sucks that his rep, is screwed, because his work does look good. If I had access to the new parts, hmmmm..... maybe I could make some nice customs too? |
