I've only eaten it as suchi and sashimi; only the loin part too. Had to cut out alot of really red meat, but the loin part was good.

I think in an earlier post I mentioned that there used to be a guy that cooked it on a grill with barbeque sauce and brought it out to the pier. That stuff tasted like beef steak. It was gooooooodddd! I have eaten it and I can tell you for sure........ I would eat it again!!!!!

When I was a Kid on the old P-Cola Pier, there was a guy who cooked in the shack named Ben...a Philipino guy I think...andway, he'd come down and get all the bobos (Which were THICK in those days) and would cook them up as the fish sandwiches they would sell...I don't know what he did to them, but they were banging!!!!

I cut up some 'pink' loin once (& cut out ALL the red) & chilll/marinated it in some soy/wasabi & ate it 'sashimi'... it was OK, a little strong, but I've had worse... I love bFT Sashimi & it was NOT as good, but it wasn't too bad...

I used to live in the Virgin Islands and the WestIndians would soak BoBo loins in 7-Up for a day and that really does it up nice....not bad as a tuna salad after the soda treatment
