I hit the #2 treble and 30# cause I use #2's and 32 # wire usually.
Lets all have a tourney tomorrow and see what does best.

#27 wire, #6 hook usually. I will use a #4 or a J hook from time to time, depending on the size of the bait.

#4 treb 38 wire the waters a little dingier at gsp you can get away with it as it gets clearer go down in wire size smallest swivel you can borrow

if im using a little rod i use boone 30lb sevenstrand with a #1 4x eagle claw

#2 bronze treble hook, 27 lb Sevenstrand, (60 lb in stained water). I use bronze hook so they rust out on cut offs and kill fewer fish (hopefully).

I like 20# wire and size 1 or 1/0 treble (Eagle Claw) in clear water, and 30 to 40# wire with 2/0 treble in dingy water. I get just as many strikes as those using lighter rigs, and I have less pull offs.
