Friday 25 SeptThis morning was a repeat of yesterday morning. Nothing.
You couldn't even fish for bait because of the yellowtails that were everywhere and gobbling everything in sight.
I caught a yellowtail on a 2 oz Gotcha. The yellowtail was no longer than the Gotcha. Ambitious little devil. Finally decided the yellowtail couldn't have been trying to eat something that was as long as he was. Must have been trying to breed with the Gotcha and got hooked in the mouth.

Brad, everyone I know seems to think they are baby Jacks but I really can't give you a scientific answer on that. If they are baby Jacks, it is a good thing their appetites diminish a bit before they are fully grown. Otherwise, the ravenous critters would devour the entire planet.

I'm pretty sure they're baby jacks. I noticed them last Sat. morning.
