Gas PricesJust totally suck. It really has put a hurtin' on my fishing this spring. I don't suspect the cost of petroleum will ever go down. It's hard to imagine at one time in my life that gas cost me .33 cents a gallon.

my dad told me when he worked at gas station in the 70's and 80's
they would have "gas wars" with the station across the street and he said the lowest they went was 15 cent
i wish it was like that now

It does suck. Just think in Venezuela Diesel is 13 cents a gallon!

i do live in gulf breeze and its a lot nicer than living in cantonment or pace or milton, but it still sucks!! i have found refuge though...its got two wheels and pedals

Time to get one of the bikes tuned up. I remember those gas wars. I've seen it for 16 cents a gallon back in the late sixties and early 70's. Somebody told me today that he was getting ready for it to go up to 7 bucks by September. He said he heard it from 2 different people. I hope they are wrong! The deer population may take a downturn!

Just put half a tank of gas in my truck for only $40.00!
I remember pumping a lot of gas for 25 cents a gallon
back in the good old days of the 1950s, and this is
getting outrageous!

You'll have to remind us how nice it is when the next BIG blow comes to town, that is if you can find your computer. But then again it might be nice living in a convertible house after the storm.

actually obie i am surprised because we (my family) stayed in my house during ivan....other than trees knocked over and debris from other things the house was fine

thats exactly what my family did
i helped my dad work on reels and wrap rods during the storm

No doubt I'm glad your parents homes faired well during the last hurricane, unfortunately there were a lot of folks not so lucky. Gas prices suck.
