Good gaff sizeWhat do you guys think is a good gaff size for your typical king and cobias? I plan on buying one soon, probably around winter so I can practice on some bonito and learn the ropes of gaffing.

I bent my cobia gaff around a 4in pipe(each hook), I just wish I would have made the ends longer by an inch or two....the king gaff I bought at OIP...42.00 I think
