Help with plate type reel seatHey guys could any of yall give me a step by step for applying a plate type reel seat to a rod? Ive ordered 2 to redo a couple rods with and I wanna do it the best way possible to ensure it doesnt pop off under pressure. One is going to go on my Cobe Rod and the other on my King Rod.

I've done a bunch of them. I've done them directly on the blank, put them on top of an underwrap, put them on top of cork tape and cork. For a ling rod I'd put it on top of an underwrap. Just wrap it down on either end and in the middle and finish the thread with rod finish. It won't come off.
