How long is longI fish the piers down south like commercial and dania, how long are your guys rods we fish a bottom rod thats usually 7-10ft and spinner wise we dont usually have cobes and kings cruise like you do we have snook and poon's and some big jacks. How long are those jig rods you throw? And you fish foulproofs on them i think so do i got the basic idea or?

Most folks use 8-10 foot heavy action rods for cobia, just about anything works for kings and tarpon, most folks use spinning reels, i.e. Mitchell 302's, Penn 706's or Van Staals. I use foulproofs on a few rods but mostly either use a large set of perfections or pac bays, and others that use braid, run fuji's. There's a few guys from Juno and West Palm who come up and fish with us during the cobia run.
