messing with lines

aight guys its time to stop being childish.  i threw my king rod today and someone had cut the line and rewrapped it on.   if i had been throwin on a king and not a cuda i would have really been pissed.  messing with someones line is askin for it urself and it may come at a time when u are throwin at a good fish.  i have an idea who did it but im not startin the @$%^ that happens on pff.  people just need to grow up cause it will come back to them

It kind of comes with the turf, if you will.  Putting reels on backwards, cramming a cigarminnow into the gearcase of the reel, taking off the handle, etc. etc. etc.  The one thing to keep in mind is that payback is the mofo of life.
Jigslinger

you gotta keep that rod in your hand!

"cramming a cigarminnow into the gearcase of the reel"

that's a good one!

Thats kinda funny Parker.   Just get them back. A cig in the  buttcap works good, they ususally don't notice until starts stinkin real bad and oozing.  Now if it was ling season it would be a different story

At least keep an eye on it. Be thankful it happened here, where theft of gear isn't much of a problem.  Take your eyes off of it long enough to allow somebody strip off some line, break it and then rewrap the spool at some of the places I fished in my youth in Texas don't expect to find your gear.

haha yeha i got some ideas to get them back it just had me really pissed then but i think it was more about the lack of kings then anything.

Yep, it happens on every pier
Hey Stevie, remember 'co-pilot' ?

It pays to be diligent

OH YEAH

everytime you leave for "break time" you never know what kind of pranks were pulled on you. you would have to check all rods upon return.
but theft was not a big problem then, at least for most. the people that would steal rods knew which ones would get a rod wrapped around thier necks.
