Mitchell 306 PUMs and Crosswinds

I have been reading this long thread and I can help!  I have nine 306 original PUMs and original Crosswind Discs.  I will admit that my prices are high, but I paid a small fortune for them myself.  I too fish only vintage Mitchell reels and have been looking for these for 2 years.  I have the manual arms with rollers on them.  The arms are original with the Fisherman's roller on them.  I have been fishing his PUMs for 3 years now with no problems.  Mitchellparts.com has no discs left.  The disc and manual set is $60.00.  I do apologize for the price, but as I said I paid a small fortune for them.  These parts are getting extremely scarce.  I have many mitchell parts on hand.  Just let me know what you may need.  Thanks!

I would really like to make sure that several people get the benefits of these parts they need, not just one.  The price breakdown is $50 per arm/roller and $14 for each disc.  The package deal is better as mentioned above.  I can't break up the rollers and arms.  There really is no mark-up on these parts.   I am pretty sure that in a few months I  will have after market 306/406 stainless kits.  I do not have a price yet, but they will definitely be less than the original ones I have now.  Thanks for asking.  If interested, PM me your phone # or contact info.

I have 7 of the made in France original 306/406 PUMs left with the original compression crosswind discs.

i hear ya squidder about not being able to take a loss and don't blame you. but can't see paying 60 bones to make a $30 reel a $60 dollar reel. i'm thinking about trying to find somebody to use an arm i got to cut some for resale. seems like those things are harder to find than 302/402 manuals...
squidder

I hear ya Stv.  I already have some being made but will not have them for 60-90 days.  They will be stainless just like the originals with both screws.  They will also be quite a bit cheaper due to the qty I am having made.  Will keep the post updated.  thanks

I am down to 5 manuals left.  I do however have 15 crosswind discs left.

I see that you sold just a 306 arm yesterday for 41 dollars.

That was you Rick, correct? The seller is from Navarre.
Either way it shows the demand is justifying the price.

Calvin,  That was not mine, but it does show these are rare and expensive.  I have sold several with discs and no complaints.  After all, they are the original made by Mitchell stainless arms and discs.  I make $3.50 profit off each kit sold.  Not much of a markup.  Especially when I said I will deliver to OIP.  The Fisherman's rollers on them work great also!  I went out off the surf this weekend and had no problems with the one I put on my custom 306.  Thanks for inquiring Calvin.

Calvin, I bought a custom aluminum spool for a 306 from that guy, Saturday. That arm your talking about, He advertised as a 306 / 302.
It can't be both can it.
Calvin

It's a 306 arm. Don't know why he put 302. Probably to attract more viewers because that would show up in search results. The same guy also has a 402 w/ manual up right now with 302 advertised in the listing because...

I put 302 in the title just because they are so similar and I would not want a 302 lover to look over an equally sweet Manual Pick up 402

damn, i have a couple of 306 arms laying around. i need to rethink what they are doing versus making some money.
squidder

Put them on a couple 306s with 2 new rollers and fish them!  306s are cheap still.  All you need is 2 rollers, 2 crosswind discs, and a beefed up drag.  I can help you get them ready if needed.  I have 306s being fished out there catching Kings and more.  have fun!
