Monday 8/31/09Got to the pier a little after 9. Just missed the Spanish. The bite was pretty much done, flipper being around didn't help either. Was told the Spanish were thick early. Still no Kings. Left at 12.

The Spanish did go on a rampage at daylight. They were everywhere and on a feeding frenzy. Sometimes you would throw out and have one on before you could close your bail. I caught them on Gotcha's and bubble rigs. Had my limit and was leaving the pier by 7:00 AM. And I don't even fish for Spanish.

The total lack of Pompano in the area has gotten me mentally off-balance (OK, more off-balance).
Would you believe I was buying some line and accidentally got a couple of bubble rigs and Gotchas in my basket and didn't know they were there until I checked out?
Then while loading my gear into my truck in the dark for a trip to the pier, I fell out of the bed of the truck and landed on my head on the cement floor of the carport which, of course, made me crazier than a stepped on bug. I thought I had died and been sent to hell and as punishment was sentenced to the task of doing nothing but fishing for Spanish for eternity. I really must have been a very bad boy. Finally snapped back to reality when it was time to clean the fish.

 Shouldn't you be doing homework instead of posting stupid stuff trying to up your post count? By the way Danny and I went to the PC pier the other day and tore up the Reds.
