That question is asked a lot. The original thread is here but the picture links no longer work..

^^^^^Wow, great old school pic!...especially since you're standing next to what was then my dream car...yes a Datsun 280ZX!!! Begged and begged to no avail...ended up having to buy my own dang car...a real POS too...an MG of all things...

Yeah, that was dads car,he owned 240's,260's and 280's and eventually got the 300's.I am sure he would have gotten a 350 had he lived long enough. If you look close enough in the south east corner, standing on the rail,I am willing to bet that is Freddie Simpson. That dude could snobble a king up when no other could catch a fish.I sometimes wonder where ol Fred is today.

Here are a few of my better pics:

The random pics at the top are now gone. The 4 different cgi scripts that rotated the pics were causing problems on my own website because thats where I had the scripts hosted due to this free fishing server not supporting cgi access.
In addition I was finding it very difficult to keep up with adding pics to and maintaining the rotation scripts.
Obie, if you wish to change anything the template to edit is "myfs_emeraldcoastpierfishing3" and pick "overall_header.tpl".

Ok. All fixed.
Obie, if you wish to add any pics to the rotation...
You will notice a folder on the server titled "randomimages".
Inside that folder you will see 4 different folders = randomimages1, randomimages2, randomimages3, and randomimages4.
Any time you want to add a picture, or pictures, to the rotation you will need to upload it to all 4 folders. Remember, it's 4 different scripts. VERY IMPORTANT - All future pics need to be resized to 225x225 before they are added to the rotation. There are several hundred pics in there already and all of them are sized at 225x225. I use a free program called Fast Stone Photo Resizer to do the resizing, even in batch mode. http://www.faststone.org

Thanks Calvin, I'll have to look around over there and see if anything makes sense to me. You the man, glad we could get our pictures going again. You know there's only one thing a fisherman likes more than catching the fish and that's showing it off.

Hey Calvin, I just went to the server and found the folders. That's look easy enough. Thanks for taking the time to set it up.

Yeah. The biggest thing is the resizing of the pics and uploading them to the rotation. This is how I did it when I was maintaining the rotation:
Create a new folder on your desktop called whatever.
Every time someone posts new "pier related" pics on here I would right click the image and save it to that folder on my desktop.
Then once a week, or more if I wasn't busy, I would batch resize all the pics I had saved up throughout the week. After resizing I would upload all those pics to the 4 different folders. And voila. Thats it. Empty that folder out on your desktop and start over and wait for the next additions.
