Mustad stainless steel shortshank 2/0 and 1/0.......good luck finding them.

Mustad no longer makes the stainless steel jig hooks in those sizes. They do still make a tinned hook that is very similar. Broke my heart when they quit making the stainless steel 2/0 and 1/0 hooks.

i know they are a little big
but i use 3/0
they are the only good pomp hooks still made
beside the 3$ a piece owners

It doesn't look good for the SS mustads so I improvised... again.
I had an old chipped up connors jig so I stripped it down and made a mold. I had a box of SS 3/0 trotline hooks and some #1 brass eyes so along with a pair of pliers and alot of patience, this is what I came up with. The top jighead is the connors. I won't be setting any speed records pouring them but I think they'll work.

Looks good jigslinger.  I use 3/0 ss mustad hooks myself.
