Red Line?

Of course I had to go to the PFF to get a pier fishing report for Pcola Pier  and also read that they finally put a line on the pier to keep hardtail fisherman at bay, anyone know any details.

I saw that awhile ago too. Sounds like a step in the right direction. They need one designating artificial  lures only in the pomp hole too! One can dream, right?
Tiderider

Your right Rob they really do need to do something about the pomp hole.

Gino is at pier and he said that the red line is right before the T

Thanks Ross, I guess only time will tell if it will make a difference.

when we went there today it was a lot better

Oh that's good, did you catch any fish?
BenFishin

I went Monday as well and I didnt see the red line, but I was about 10 feet before the T.  I could have sworn there were at least 4-5 sabiki rigs being thrown at the T.

They probably removed the painted line. I say if you catch them on the tee, then grab there rod away from them and tell them to get the hell off the pier

when i was there today the red line was as thick as ever and i didnt see any sabikis but i did see some idiots with large weights on king rigs and people throwing double bottom rigs but with trebles and two baits instead.

I witnessed this too.  After getting cast over a couple times by one of the double drop, squid rigs, I gave up fishing on the west side of the end.  Appeared to be a vacationing family.  The poor kids didn't know any better.  Saw the painted red line.  It is truly thick and hard to miss.  Placed right before you get onto the end.  Wish pier management would have moved it down a little further cause I don't fish the end unless I have to.
