As soon as I read it in the paper and saw he was on cross country team, I knew he was a friend of yours, It was a relief to know you were not in the car. Our prayers are with you and the families.

jace maybe you can do like i did I lost a good friend some years back so i had a rod built and had his name and dates put on it so he can fish with me and our friends like a tribute rod that way we cant forget them | ||

thats a good idea. obie when i get some money together im goin need a new rod. i was goin to get a tattoo but my parents hate em so got to wait on that one. but our cross country team is close. were all like brothers and sisters. its got everybody messed up. normally you can hear us all the way down the hall but when i walked in yesterday i didnt hear anything then when i walked in to the room everybody was just kinda of spacin out and nobody said a word. monday night was rough at the memorial to, we were a wreck. theres a pic in the newspaper of me and several other runners just holdin onto each other breakin down. |

Lost friendsSorry Jace, hope everybody's ok. As we get older unfortunately it is a unfair part of life , friends needlessly dying. Each year ads to the list of lost friends. The close friends hurt the worse. My cousin Bg Hickerson died in a car crash years ago. I still havent got over that. He was one of the upcoming pro's of pier fishing & fishing in general. I cant imagine how life would be today with him alive. His nickname was coon . (always digging in others stuff like a Raccoon). Fishing & Friends are what life is about . Make a fishing day for the ones gone on. Sorry, Meant this to go on jaceboats topic. |
