RODDY AT THE PIERIt was great to see Roddy Pate come out to the pier this morning about 9:30 . He was so glad to get out of the house. I thought he looked good for what I was expecting. He said he lost about 30 # , but appeared to be in good spirits. He needs to take it easy for a while.

That is awesome! Was he able to fish or just spectating?

He's fishing!!! He called me yesterday for a report and said he was coming out. I have rods to build so I couldn't make it today. Hope he bows himself up some good fish today,.

Thats great to hear!  Hopefully he won't over work himself  He is a fish slayer and might not need to over do it but, its great to hear that he is back in action

He was going to fish, but said he didn,t think he was ready to battle a Tarpon yet!!

He could just jack it up and pass off the rod, I'm sure he could handle that.

Weren't no Tarpon for him to jack up today but I did see him jack up some huge hardtails with his bait rod
He definitely was in good spirits though and said he'd never take his health for granted again
He wanted me to tell everyone who said a prayer for him "thanks" he really appreciated it...said he thinks that why he was spared.
