runnin the beach 4-16I don't have much to report other than its real hard to sightfish from a boat alone when the wind is blowing in your face. I saw one ling that probably would have been 35#s bu by the time I put my security rope down, turned the boat with the wind and got my rod he was deep and not interested in my jig or fake eel. Running back in closer to the shore I spotted a little blacktip in real shallow and got him to blow up on a topwater, but my hooks didn't find home. It was probably 4 feet long. Boat ran good so I guess I am a happy camper. See yall on the pier next monday, thats the next day off.

good report where was the cobe ? in the bay ?

he was on the inside edge of the 2nd sandbar infront of the oldcoastguard station. I made almost to the pickens gate before I turned around. If I was fishing a more cobia fishing friendly boat I might have seen more, I did notice other boats turning on fish. I have an older 17' whaler so I am not up high enough to see very well.
