yes, Kings, Poons and Bonito. Smaller ones work great for spanish. We call them Ly's or alewives

Scaled sardines/LY/pilchards are good bait for a variety of species. Smaller ones make great bait for trout and reds. The larger ones are primo tarpon bait. And while not the preferred bait for king mackeral, plenty of kings have been taken on them. |
