Shakespheare 9ft ugly stick custom builti have a 9ft ugly stick that i need to sell.
it has been collecting dust in my room for a while and i need some money
it has 5 mildrum guides and a fuji tip and cork handles
the guides are wrapped black with turqoise trim
this is a great king rod especially for throwing cigs and herring
i am asking 150 obo

Great rod Ben, I know Bo and Clinton swear by them. I've seen them beat the hell out of those rods. Flings a cig a mile as well.

ben, is that butt wrapped with silver thread,spray painted or made of aluminum?

It has an aluminum butt. Ben brought this rod over a few months ago. He had wrapped it and needed it flexcoated. I also shaped the cork a bit while I had it. It has Mildrum guides. It has a great action, just right for throwing cigs and ly's a country mile, but it also has a firm back and can easily throw bigger baits. Personally I wouldn't get rid of it but he must have his reasons.

it was an 8ft blank and i wanted a 9ft rod so
you mix up some 2 part epoxy and glue it on there
alot of older rods[roddy's,garcias,berkleys] came with aluminum buts
