Sunday, 27 Sept 09Got there about noon...had walked out earlier just to get out and there were LY's, HT's, and Threads with the occasional cig for bait...wind was SW at 10-15...Kinda quiet for most of the day, with a few schoolies and 10# landed...a couple of nice fish were lost either to hook pull or flipper.I'd say by 5:30, when I went down to the pomp hole, about 15 were landed...nothing to write home about except for Kenny hooking up to a nice sail...he tailwalked about 30-40 times 200-300 yards out...tremendous sight!!! He didn't get him back to the pier, but man was that fun to watch...down the pomp hole about 6, Tony got a real nice pomp about 2-2.5 lbs. Left at 6 with one king in the box.
