im finally out of school
cant wait to fish
the only problem is there are no fish

i got out of school yesterday and went to pensacola pier and they put 2 dolphin up one was pretty big and a kid got a shark and i lost 3 sharks

washington high school. the three sharks i lost all were within an hour.

but you cant keep them anyway

yeah but i have been trying to catch one and all i get is broken lines or hit and runs or spit baits.

ive caught my fair share off them
just make your leaders longer so they wont tail whip you becuase thats what usally happens

the broken lines have always been jumps not tail whacks.

im not sure what was on it yesterday because it was my bro's reel. but i wasnt fishing for shark i had a king leader on with half a skippy when i kept getting shark bites.

USe a long leader like Ben said. when they jump they roll up in your line and bust you off. Of course shark fishing is not allowed though

nah a king leader is fine. with the jumpers it wont matter what leader u use after a jump or 2 they will have wrapped the whole leader. its tough to keep one of them on the line no matter how long a leader you use unless you use a 6ft plus leader which is a pain to throw.

ya the king leader was fine except the hook was to small to set good. although the first shark i got was hooked great and it set easy but then i jumped and ruined my chance of getting it. although the second one jumped and i still had him till he spit the hook
