Mike Moore showed me this knot back in 1997 on Navarre Pier, but I didn't really start using it until this year. It is especially good for braid. The guy who made the video tested a bunch of knots and this one ended up being the best hands down. I know everyone has their favorite but this is one worth learning.

Looks like a good knot and pretty easy to tie. I'll have to try that one. Have you tried it with mono Obie?

This knot works to 95%
I have used it in the past .I have to admit i dont like braid but back when it first come out this was the knot of choice and best i can tell still is.

I have tried it with mono and it works perfect. It beats out my old knot, which was a form of uniknot in everything but the ease of tying.

I think you'll like it. I only double the line with 15lb+ mono and it works great.
