Thursday 7/30Another slow day. Water still dingy/clear, wind from the SW, LY for bait. A squall blew up and 3 small kings were hooked, 2 were caught. Several tarpon hooked up thru the day, one green 706 spool blew up by a tarpon.

Steve all I can say for sure is there's a guy looking to buy a new 706 spool. I used a green 706 reel today as well for tarpon (hooked one) but I left the green spool at the house and used a gold spool.

ah heck, had to throw it out there. that green spool is not going to help much if he continues to try to lunk tarpon.  , gotta run a light drag wiff dem greenies. if he ends up wanting to sell point him my direction

yea your right, i'm being selfish arn't i. i just want the ones i can get at a good price. i can't justify buying at the prices some of these guys buy them for. i got a couple that need work, am going to concentrate on those for the winter.
