Got thee about 5:30...skippies were tearing up the bait...about 6 or so...as the first rays of the sun were breaking, I got the first spanish...nice 3 lb'er...Jim Mills (AKA Bubbles) got a nicer one on...you guessed it...a bubble rig...his went about 4...several more were got along with a few clippages...then IT showed up and ruined things...Ron managed to get a lil king without loosing it to the air breather...I left the end about 5 till 7 and there were spanish in the draw...2-3 lbs a piece, but were skittish due to the mother-Daughter tag team that had made their way down there...FINALLY left at 7:20 with 3 spansih in the box...

I want to thank you for hosting Flipper since he (she) is not at PCB pier now. I lost a good 35/40 lb. King a few days ago to him while he was visiting us.

inshorefisherman

he killed it ?
jon tolar

inshorefisherman

pop I

Why would you kill a fish like that? I thought it was a sport fish. That makes no sense, I have  never seen sailfish steaks anywhere.

By the time he got it back to the pier, he was pretty much gone...no way to get down and revive it...had he popped it off, it wouldn't have made it...BTW...Tastes YUMMY!!!
Jigslinger

I would have done the same thing. No sense feeding the sharks if it has a big chance of dying. Pics?
jon tolar

What kind of fish is it like? By that I mean red like a tuna or white like a cobe.
DevnDeb

Looked pretty white...had to cut a bloodline out of it, but otherwise...it was yummy!
