TROPICAL STORM WARNINGI heard that the gulf coast is under a Tropical storm warning. Hope nothing materializes out there. You don't need any set backs on the new piers or any of your property or lives to be at stake.

Looks like it might be enough to clean out what's left of that June grass.

It looks like the depression/storm? will track NW along the central FL Panhandle coast.
Currently a plane is investigating so we'll soon have revised estimates on forecast direction and strength.
But the radr loops seem to indicate it is slowly getting stronger and maybe heading toward Cape San Blas.

It's not as bad as it could be either...
I'll take that over "Bill" which is forecast to become a hurricane, maybe even a 'major' cane by mid week
Thank God it's forecast to stay out in the open ocean
And "Ana" is forecast to weaken or (hopefully) dissapate before entering the Gulf of Mexico.

Jim Cantore isn't here yet so the apocalypse is not yet upon us. I live about 1/2 mile from the beach so I made sure I had beer on hand and the trash can wouldn't get blown across the neighborhood. Guess I'm good to go.

Yeah you can kinda gauge your predicament by those guys: Morrow - maybe your in the path of a minimal; Siedel- probably a little worse, Steph Abrams- you're pretty much in the path of a bad one; Cantore- leave...you're in the direct path of a killer hurricane...get out!!!
