Don't be afraid to try something different. Look closely at the jigs you like to get ideas on how they are put together and the material used. Bright oranges and greens are typically the colors of choice. Good luck and post pictures when you get some built.

i dont like pure white on any lure, ling jigs included. but white and just about any other color i think looks really nice.
