Sweet lookin rod Obie. i'm suprised you could even stand building an AU rod being a Bama fan    i really like the way the Navy Blue and Orange turn out around the guides  looks good

Yeah, someone brought me the blank. That Navy thread is getting kind of hard to come by and it's nearly black but that is the Auburn color.

Beautiful rod, Obie. The taper of the grips is particularly nice, too. You should call it "War Seagull". Excuse me, I cod net kelp myself.
