First off i know that size hook one use's acocording to bait size use.

I use either a #4 (4xstrong), or a 1/0 (2x strong) bronze treble. I generally use Eagle Claw bronze hooks. I sharpen them before use, unless they're Lazer Sharp. I like Spro swivels. They're strong and small.

I like 1/0 kahle hooks for flounder. I have no idea why but that is just how I learned how to do it.
