When does "Pensacola Bay Fishing Pier" open?Anyone know when the Pensacola side of the new 3 mile bridge fishing pier opens? I drove across 3 mile yesterday for the first time in a while and it looks like it's almost done. There's a sign at the front that probably says the opening date but I could only get a glimpse of it in the fast traffic. Although I could see big letters that read "Pensacola Bay Fishing Pier". It would be great if it could open by September or October?

I'm not 100% sure but I've heard 2010, I think they still have to build the end of the pier, the artist rendition shows it much wider to allow cars to turn around.

they are contracted to finish it by the end of the year, but i've heard they could have it done in the next few months since they are ahead of schedule.
