there isnt a lure in the world worth that much unless it ties the knots to itself, works itself, cast itself super far, sets the hook itself, and catches all the damn fish in the gulf.

That is crazy but when you are a collector you have to pay to play.

Even worse is the collectible lures I have seen go for five digits, even a few six digit examples (Haskell Minnow)! Some serious money that serious collectors will spend. But then again, not many examples even left of these top dollar lures.

I've got a few that are worth 50 to 100 bucks but nothing like that. It's just like any other hobby. You can sink alot of bucks in it.
