He tried to reassemble that fish for 2 hours.

If fishing in the rain was not a deterrent........
If when your teacher told you to get a Pen, a reel emerged......
If you sat in the shade and the person next to you was 80 or 90.....
If you could could sell a Redfish quicker than you could catch it......
If "school" meant something totally different......
If the world's troubles were not part of 'your world'........
If a "sh---k" could be cleaned and on ice in less than a minute......
If your best fish caught was a hookup you gave to a friend.....
If you would watch Trolleys while old men walked distances to p--....
If you are as excited now on the pier as you were at age 6......
If you found tattoos interesting before the age of 10..........
If "King on!" did not remind you of a TV show......
If a Tide Line did not conjure up a football game.....
If you could go 3 days without bathing, music or television.....
If you walked to the pier house to fetch food/drinks for old folks......
If the smell of fish, bait and sunburned skin pleased your Dad.....
If a day without fish caught was still a VERY GOOD DAY.......
And if you are now a man who wishes the same for your kids....

You might have been a Pier Rat!

I once put a bait in some ones pocket and let them sleep all night on the pier with it in there lol hes going to kill me now

I also put some crokers in my other buddys tackle box b4 he went home for the week his mom found them when the maggots were comming out of it in the garage lol
