ok guys the spools are scheduled to go to anodizing peeps in about two weeks and for any of you that want a color other than gold, green, or black speak up now or forever hold your peace. i think the 3 colors above will cover most people but i know some of you wanted natural aluminum finish and ive seen red and blue spools . rem im only makin 25 to start so if you want any outta the first batch please let me know quantity and color asap.
thanks

i think anybody that uses lip grabbers on a red fish needs an exotic pink color. that will make it stand out. there will be not a bit of confusion as to who it belongs to. pink SCREAMS candy ass.

kewl, i work right outa trussville, live in odenville and raised on the southside. small world, if you gotta a carrer you would have a hard time making to the beach. i am prolly 8 to 10 years from downgrading everything but the atmosphere and friends. my story is the same, got away for a number of years and got back into 3 or 4 years ago and having as much fun as i did when i was in my teens.

ran in to a prob with machining the spools today. under the drag washers there is a graphite bushing that pushes down into the spool ,  it fits the crosswind shaft to the spool and raises the bottom drag washer up so it grabs the flat parts of the spool so it doesnt spin. I thought i could machine the spool so that it doesnt need that bushing but the way it has to be cut theres no way around it. im trying to find some of these bushings but they are an oddball size (of course!!) and have had no luck yet sooooo this prob means they will have to be made which i can do but its gonna be more money not sure how much. they should be fairly cheap im guessing around 5 bones more . i need some feed back from you guys cause if this is gonna be a prob then ill have to reconsider sure dont want be stuck with a ton of money wasted and sittin on spools i cant get my money back on.

I am not on the list to get them because I don't have 706s, but I bet the price difference will be miniscule to these diehards. Don't sweat it.

drags, bushings, flat parts, five bucks. after the day i had that made me dizzy. maybe the tecnical dudes like kingfsher or gettowrapped could understand all that. all i understand is warehousing and my money, 10 extra bucks call me in.
