Got there about 6:15am...2nd cast resulted in a nice spansih...then all hell broke loose...Spanish and occasional kings were EVERYWHERE...Axe handles were getting pulled up left and right...at one point, everyone that had a bait, gotcha or plug in the water was on...I got a 10# king who swalloed my last leader, so I switched to a Rapala swimmer that was getting literally blown out of the water. It was awsome watching the surface strikes and skyrockets...this lasted for about an hour until the air breather showed his azzz...James lost a nice king to him...Left at 7:30 with 2 kings and 7 spansih all in the 2-3# range.
Went back at 4:30 and the spanish chew was back on...The draw was exploding with spansih with big ones on baits and smaller ones on bubbles and gotchas. Had a report of a 30# king lost when he came straight in and sucked the bait while coming right at the pier that was confirmed.  Pompano were also running around earlier in the day...Thomas Norvelle scored a couple of them in the 2-3# range.  Bite slowed a bit and went to the end...a handfull of kings were caught with a couple in the 10-15 range. Left at 6:45 with 2 spansih and 1 King.

missed the morning excitement but made up for it this evening. Amber and I got there around 2 and threw for a couple hours on the end, we got bored so we headed to the trough where the spanish were biting. I ended up getting 2 kings there both around 8# and we caught some nice spanish to go along to go along with em'. Just got done cleaning the kitchen
